The new car park has been successful and seems to be holding up with the British weather! This is the grassy area next to the community plot as you enter the gates. Please drive around the old woodchipped car park line to access the grassy space, which has been reinforced with rubber matting. As you can tell (those of us that have been here since the opening of the allotments in 2021) the plastic grid matting was a bit of a disaster and just broke, leaving us with a horrible muddy, woodchippy mess in the wet weather as it just broke under the weight of the cars. Hopefully we should now be ok with the new area. Thank you everyone for your patience with this while we worked on getting it sorted 😊
